Free Energy Services

Are you eligible?

Not many people know but you could be eligible for free energy services from your supplier if you fall into any of the following categories:

• pensionable age

• disabled
• chronically sick
• have sight or hearing difficulties

· You can apply to register on your gas and electricity
company's Priority Service Register. To register, just telephone your gas and electricity company and request a form.  

 

What  services may be available to you?

Once registered on the scheme, the following free
services may be available to you:

• Free gas appliance and installation safety check.

• Quarterly Meter Readings.

• Repositioning of meters.

• "Password" Scheme.

• Special controls or adapters.

• Services for visually or hearing impaired.

• Bill nominee scheme.

• Special treatment if your gas supply is disrupted.

Please check with your energy supplier to which services you are eligible to as they all have different qualifying criteria.
