Top Energy Saving Tips
Heating
One of the
largest costs in our home is energy and in
particular heating. By using our heating controls correctly and
wisely we can reduce our heating costs.
- Turn your
room thermostat down by 1ºC - it could cut your heating bills by
up to 10% and save you around £40 per year.
- Is your
water too hot? Your cylinder thermostat could be set to high. It
does not need to be set any higher than 60ºC/140ºF.
- Make sure
your thermostatic radiator valves (TRV’S) are set
correctly. TRV’s allow you to set different temperatures in different
rooms.
